Katie Harnett’s work explores the unspoken elements of the Cornish landscape which are invisible, but form a tangible part of the Cornish identity and cultural history. By making myths such as the Lost Land of Lyonesse and the Morgrawr visible in the physical landscape of Falmouth they show the viewer something of the legend of the land, and reveal the hidden stories locations might offer.

Excavate is a kit-based exhibition of commissioned art by three artists - Jan Hopkins, Katie Harnett and Michael Tanner. The pieces can be found across various locations in Falmouth, Cornwall.
